Local authorities can access our Provider Portal to get information relevant to their placing a child. This includes insurance certification and other documents.
This protocol facilitates the sharing of information about providers between local authorities where there are events or concerns that may be relevant to their contractual relationship. This is a transparent process and providers can view the form and guidance provided to authorities as well as having an opportunity to respond and have their response circulated to other authorities.
Prior to the regulation of Supported Accommodation the North West had a set of 'Minimum Standards' and providers were assessed by the regional team. In the transition period as providers become registered with Ofsted but are yet to receive their first inspection we are carrying out some transitional assessments focussed on key areas.
